2011 BLACK BAY STRAIGHT EGYPTIAN ARABIAN COLT FOR SALE

Extremely refined and elegant black bay SE colt. Huge eyes, very well-shaped neck, level topline and long legs. This extremely beautiful colt has herd sire potential and his owner is motivated to sell him young.

His sire, Imperial Shehaab who is also dark bay, was meant to be the replacement for his famous sire Ibn Safinaz, who was imported as a yearling from Egypt. Registered as Swidan in Egypt, his name was changed to honor his dam, who was a much admired mare at El Zahraa. In the U.S. Ibn Safinaz was shown to many championships in both halter and performance and was know in his prime as an outstanding athlete.

Shehaab's dam, MB Mazaraa, is an Imperial Madheen daughter, and a multi-champion show mare. Her dam, Imperial Organzah (by Orashan) traces in tail female to the "queen" of Imperial Farms, the 1971 U.S. National Champion mare Serenity Sonbolah, who was by (Sameh/ Bint Om El Saad).

Imperial Shehaab was shown at the 2007 Egyptian Event and was named Reserve Champion stallion in the very competitive World Class Stallions, three and four year olds. Also the sire of Imperial Shahaabah - 2011 Egyptian Event Reserve Champion Futurity Filly in a class of forty fillies!

From a genetic standpoint, Ibn Safinaz has recently passed away. MB Mazarra now resides in Egypt, so Imperial Shehaab has become the replacement for both parents. Imperial Shehaab carries the EE gene and cannot produce a chestnut colored foal. He can produce black, bay and grey, and he is a very dark bay, like his dam.
