Sons & Daughters

-- The Legend Continues -

Baskafire was one of the first Arabian stallions advertised on the internet, and over the years we have received feedback from some of the enthusiastic owners of his many sons and daughters. A few of these stories and photos are shared on here as well as photos of some foals who were bred at the Conquest farm. If you have a Baskafire son or daughter, we'd love to hear from you. If you're willing to share photos or accomplishments on this page, please contact us.

[April]BASKABEAUTY - Endurance and Competitive Trail: 2000 IAHA REGIONAL CHAMPION in Competitive Trail, Top 5 Region 1 IAHA Endurance Championships, AERC National Endurance Championships, 12th.
This Baskafire daughter is owned by Kathy Klein of California and completed 415 endurance miles and 180 competitive trail miles in her first year. "She is a very nice mare, with the kindest disposition. Very talented athlete. She has a huge eye and very feminine, dry head...She has a really long hip, very powerful up the hills and very balanced going down. It takes a special horse to do Endurance-they must be amazing athletes and have great conformation to withstand the rigors of racing and training.....Baskafire is beautiful, that's why I chose him many years ago. He is a credit to the Breed." Kathy and her friend Bobbie Lieberman have campaigned "April". Bobbie remarks, "April is probably the most level-headed Arabian I've ever known and she has a curious, sweet disposition. Plus, she is very athletic and can really boogie uphill...As far as I'm concerned, she has a million-dollar disposition and has nothing to prove, so everything else is just icing on the cake.
I have a son of Baskafire. "JOHNNIE B GOOD". I just love his understanding and endurance. He loves to play and dance as I call it. But never has done anything mean. He loves to be right beside you and treated like your best friend ( kinda like a dog). He has been sooo easy to train. In very limited riding (less than 1 year) he did side passing, flying lead changes, and is very agile. His endurance on the trial is outstanding. He recovers in no time. He's just now getting his balance over hard terrain, but does great on long, hard miles. He'll do anything you ask as long as you show him what to do. He's the horse I will be keeping well into his twenties... Amy Bray, NV
